SAP 505 Worlds - dinghy racing as never seen before
The SAP 505 Worlds is a cutting edge show case of how to present dinghy racing in the most exciting and engaging way. Driven by the involvement of SAP, the use of SAP Sailing Analytics allows cutting through the clutter, deciphering the data and extracting those key parameters that sets the winner apart from the looser. During racing live commentary and images supported by on-the-fly analytics allow presenting the essence of the drama for spectators around the world in real time.

After end of racing, the afternoon debriefs with the SAP Sailing Analytics experts in the SAP Sailors Lounge let the sailors dig a level deeper to achieve those crucial insights of what worked and what didn't.

TracTrac is proudly supporting SAP Sailing Analytics with live tracking at the 505 Worlds and many other events during the year.

Club Náutic Arenal leading the way
The Club Náutic Arenal (CNA) in the magnificent Palma bay on Mallorca is the latest club to start using the TracTrac Club service to track all their trainings and other weekly activities. As organizer of the legendary Trofeo Princesa Sofia amongst many other regattas, CNA has earned a reputation as a visionary in the application of technology for the promotion of sailing.

With the use of TracTrac Club, Director of CNA Ferran Muniesa now confirms the great potential tracking has to open the daily sailing activities up to fans of sailing inside and outside the club as well as providing safety for young sailors and an important tool for sailors and coaches to review the regattas to learn and improve their sailing.
Fun in the snow - Ski O Tour and Alpine Challenge
As usual at this time of the year we have had a lot of fun in the snow lately. Two diverse examples of this were the Ski O Tour in Austria and the Alpine Challenge in France.

At the Ski O Tour in Gschnitztal, Austria we witnessed a selection of the world's best ski orienteers in an exciting and challenging battle for victory. The visualization live and in replay once again revealed so clearly that you have to go fast – but more importantly – you have to go right.

The Alpine Challenge is a charity team event, challenging teams of 4 riders to clock up 150km+ of GPS tracked skiing or boarding over 2 non stop days across the 15 resorts of the massive Portes du Soleil ski area, navigating to 25 checkpoints across each of the 15 ski resorts. The team that clocks up the most km's and successfully visits the most checkpoints will win The Snow-Camp Alpine Challenge 2015!!  It's all about strategy, stamina, teamwork and good fun!
