Latest Rooster Winter bundles and unidentified PUO for Steve

You might have wondered why Rooster has been relatively quiet on the Press Release front. Unfortunately I have been pretty ill with what has been classified as a PUO (Pyrexia of Unknown Origin) or in other words 'a fever but we've no idea what is causing it'.
After nearly 2 months of fevers and night sweats I was admitted into hospital for three weeks. After 7 blood cultures, 2 chest X-rays, 4 stool samples, 3 heart valve scans, two CT scans, a PET scan, a bone marrow biopsy and 30 separate blood tests there was a long list of nasty things it was not, but no result as to what it was.
Meanwhile back at Rooster the team more than coped (perhaps too well) in my absence. They managed to sell more New Pro Hikers than we had planned for and outsold our expectations of Pro Aquafleeces throughout September and October.
Now with Christmas around the corner we have loads of ideally priced items of must have kit for anyone who is serious about keeping warm this winter - my favourite is our Neck Gaiter. We have some new winter bundles that will be on our website quite soon - so keep an eye out for changes to our bundles page - if you like our current bundles, be quick as they will change in the next couple of days.
Despite my lack of time blogging, our Blog pages have continued to be updated by many of our Team Rooster Riders keeping you up to date and informed of sailing around the world.
For my part I am slowly getting better - although I am still an outpatient with yet more tests on the horizon. My fevers have subsided - but now I am 11Kg lighter than I was and will get blown away by more than a five knot breeze, it might be a while before I am back to full fitness - so if you are going to do some armchair yachting like me over the winter you might like to check out the New Rooster Tactics DVD.
The key message is - Rooster is Open as usual - you can continue to expect the same excellent service you have become accustomed to - so I would get in early and get your christmas goodies and take advantage of our free postage now. Remember we have no minimum order value!
