The Streaker Northern and Southern Paddle Series starts at Tamworth
There was a warm and as usual friendly welcome to all Streaker sailors at Tamworth SC for the first event in the Streaker Northern and Southern Paddle Series. A light and shifty south westerly breeze continued to strengthen through the day, which made for some interesting racing through out the fleet.
The racing was dominated by Tom Gillard from Sheffield Viking Sailing Club who won all 3 races. Paul Burgoine from the home club secured 2nd overall after at times battling it out with both Tom and Ian Bradley from Ouse Amatuer Sailing Club who took 3rd overall.
The Southern Paddle Series moves on to Alton Water on the 18th April for their next event whilst the Northern Paddle sailors visit Rotherham SC on the 19th April.

Helensburgh Sailing Club hosted the 2010 Scottish Streaker Championships. The event was set over a weekend with 3 races scheduled for each day. The course was windward/leeward with spreader mark.
10 visiting Streakers joined 2 local boats and 30+ youth sailors for this year’s open event in a blustery force 4 to 5. Pennine again produced bacon butties for early arrivals and a friendly and efficient day of racing.
Streaker Northern Area Champs at Hykeham Sailing Club - 04 Jul 2010The Streaker Northern Area Championship took place at Hykeham Sailing Club and coincided with Waddington Air Show. Sixteen boats took part from as far afield as Milton Keynes and Sheffield.
Streaker Nationals at Stewartby Water Sailing Club - 18 Jun 2010The 2010 Streaker National Championship was held at Stewartby Water Sailing Club over the weekend of 12th / 13th June. The event was sponsored for the 3rd year running by Noble Marine and attracted a total of 48 boats.
Streaker Open at Welton Sailing Club - 26 Apr 2010In glorious sunshine and lovely wind from the south-east, starting out at force 2, and rising to a perfect 3 gusting 4, sixteen visitors – from as far away as Glasgow - joined nine home boats for the Welton SC Streaker open meeting.
