If you happen to be near a TV this Friday at 17.10 (BBC 1) you might like to watch Iain Percy do his bit for promoting sailing on the well known kids TV show Blue Peter. It's on the same time as Home and Away so you might need to steal the TV back if the family or housemates are soap addicts.

Iain was forced to exchange his Finn for a Laser Stratus for the day as he acquired two crew, Nick Thompson, our young Optimist European Champion and the lovely Katie Hill. Unfortunately Iain will not be around to take the accepted amount of 'jibes' (!) as he is Palma preparing to defend his European title.

PS: you can follow his progress in Palma on the Sail for Gold website at: www.sailforgold.co.uk
