BritCAT Challenge sailors round John OGroats

BritCAT Challenge sailors Luke Yeates and Mark Angel passed around the coast north of John O'Groats today 15th June on their 12th day since leaving Poole.
This bold circumnavigation of the British mainland on an 18ft Hobie Tiger beach cat is an attempt to be the the first, fastest and the youngest circumnavigation of Britain in a 18/20ft Beach Catamaran.
The journey from Poole in Dorset anticlockwise around the coast of Britain is planned to be completed in less than a month. It is also to raise money for charities to support young people from disadvantaged backgrounds through the work of the UK Sailing Academy and children most at risk through ChildLine.
