Do you and your family love being outdoors and on the water? Start your sailing adventure with a visit to the RYA Dinghy Show, presented by Suzuki in association with Yachts & Yachting and Gill.

The show is full of activities to entertain and inspire the whole family! Here's five reasons why you should head to Alexandra Palace, London with your 'tribe' over the weekend of the 03-04 March...

Get interactive
Whatever your age, jump on board a simulator and have a go at sailing on dry land! You can also lean back and hangout on the on the RS Trapeze Rig or pop on the VR goggles and discover the feeling of flying across the water on the RYA 360 VR on the Water Experience.

Don't miss the chance to test your driving skills on the throttle of a virtual 360 RIB and race your family on the Honda RYA Youth RIB simulator!

Check out the boats
The show is packed to the rafters with hundreds of boats and you'll find everything you need to get out on the water whatever your age or experience. Experts from the RYA will be on hand with heaps of advice for your family and if you're new to the sport then don't miss the Beginners Trail which runs twice a day on Saturday and Sunday.

Meet sailing's superstars
Maybe you've set your sights on becoming a future medallist or you'd like to pick the brains of a world champion sailor?

You can rub shoulders with members of the British Sailing Team and other sailing heroes in the new 'Sailors Corner'. Chill out in the bean bag seats for Q&A sessions, take on the knot tying challenges or see if you're fast enough to beat the sailors' times on the Wattbike, and so much more.

Activities and competitions everywhere
As well as the simulators there's plenty on offer for the little ones. Younger visitors can take part in the famous Dinghy Show Treasure Hunt, collecting clues and stickers as they explore the show to win some amazing prizes! There's also the chance to win your very own Topper dinghy (swing by the West Corridor and find out how).

Kids go free
And to top it off children aged 15 and under go free with every paying adult. So, don't forget you can save money on the door by getting your tickets in advance!
