Here are some updates from the crew along with Libby and David discussing what is and what isn't fact, as well as the crew pushing through the Casino Doldrums.
Some old scores look like they are being settled on this Leg - with former Sydney 18ft Skiff foes - David Witt (SHK Scallywag) and Chris Nicholson (Team AkzoNobel) battling it out at the head of the fleet. Witt is as good as his word - at the latest report SHK Scallywag (0700 UTC on Sunday February 18, 2018) has retaken the lead - achieving some very good speeds compared to the former leg leader - now just 1942nm to sail to Auckland.
However they might be through the Doldrums but the aftermath of a couple of cyclones is ahead - so there is a lot of golf left in the hole.
