During the 2018 Yanmar Wooden Boatshop Wooden Boat Festival of Geelong, Fairnie Park will come alive with music and song.

For all three days of the March Long weekend, local Geelong musicians and performers are set to create a wonderful, relaxed, family friendly musical atmosphere, at the "Buskers Festival" as part of the overall event activities of the Wooden Boat Festival.

Fairnie Park (located on Eastern Beach Road, directly next to the Royal Geelong Yacht Club) will play host to these talented musicians, as well provide a wide range of free children's entertainment across the weekend.

Coordinated by local Geelong musician Steve Thew, the line-up includes a range of music styles to suit every taste. The full line up can be viewed on the official event website.

Bring along a picnic, or enjoy the treats from the 50s themed caravan Rockin Donuts and Coffee, and prepare to be entertained before visiting the fabulous nautical displays at the Wooden Boat Festival located at the Yacht Club adjacent.

This is a new event for the Wooden Boat Festival so you can expect something quite special. The Wooden Boat Festival of Geelong is proudly presented by Wooden Boat Shop and Yanmar.
