The RYA Dinghy Show and Suzuki Marine are offering you the chance to win a brand new Suzuki powered Rigiflex safety boat and trailer for your club worth over £5,400 (RRP).

To be in for a chance to win all you have to do is buy an advance ticket for the RYA Dinghy Show 2018 and you will be entered into the prize draw. The winner will be able to nominate the affiliated sailing club of their choice to win the Rigiflex Newmatic 360 powered by a Suzuki DF9.9AS engine with a trailer from Extreme Trailers.

"We are delighted to be teaming up with show sponsors Suzuki to offer this fantastic competition and this year it's even easier to take part" said Celia Edgington, RYA Shows and Promotions Manager.

"The more people entering from your club, the better chance your club has to receive the prize so why not get a group together and organise a minibus to travel to the show. Don't forget that affiliated clubs can take advantage of a special ticket price of £10 when booking six tickets or more- a saving of £6 per ticket compared to if you just decide to head down on the day" she concludes.

George Cheeseman, Head of Suzuki Marine and ATV said, "We are very pleased to have teamed up with Rigiflex to offer this competition prize. The Rigiflex Newmatic 360 is one of the most popular club safety boats on the market and when combined with the Suzuki DF9.9A, it is a very robust and durable package, which is well suited to the rigors of club use.

"The DF9.9A benefits from the Suzuki Function Tiller Handle, which is ergonomically designed to include throttle, throttle friction adjustment and gear shifting all on the tiller handle. This makes it incredibly easy to use, so ideal for volunteers undertaking safety boat duty."

The competition will close midnight Thursday 01 March and the winner announced at the Show. The winner or winning organisation must collect the prize from Rigiflex Boats UK in Lymington.

Safety boat packages

The Rigiflex Newmatic 360 powered by a Suzuki DF9.9AS engine is one of three safety boat packages developed by Suzuki in partnership with Ribcraft and Rigiflex, to a specification agreed by the RYA to offer clubs standard packages that will cater for the prime needs of most clubs and training centres.

Alongside the inland/inshore Rigiflex, there is also a 4.8m inshore RIB and a 5.85m coastal RIB so that there is a safety boat package to suit most club locations.

George Cheeseman commented, "We hope that by offering the three different size RYA recommended safety boat packages with our partners Ribcraft and Rigiflex we are providing RYA affiliated club committees with an easy and complete safety boat solution so that they can concentrate on their continuing efforts to encourage sailing participation."

To find out more about the safety boat packages visit Suzuki on stand F10 at the RYA Dinghy Show or visit the website.

The competition will close midnight Thursday 01 March and the winner will be contacted on Friday 02 March and then announced at the Show. The winner or winning organisation must collect the prize from Rigiflex Boats UK in Lymington.
