Bart's Bash 2016 at Lancing Sailing Club

by Mike Croker on 20 Sep 2016 18 September 2016

42 boats from Lancing and Shoreham Sailing Clubs took part in Lancing's Bash last Sunday. An increasingly fickle offshore NE breeze provided challenging conditions, more like snakes and ladders at times. Though, as usual, the more experienced helms, including one Olympic medalist, seemed to have better luck in finding the ladders!

Contrary to forecasts, the sun also made a significant guest appearance, brightening up the post race discussions and even providing a cooling sea breeze in mid afternoon. A day to remember.
