Following on from 120 boats at the 2016 Llandudno Nationals, the singlehanded Supernova dinghy continues to be one of the fastest growing UK dinghy classes in recent years.
The 2017 Nationals are in Plymouth, a cracking venue with a safety limit of 150 boats which the class is targeting to reach before entries close. We can now confirm that 100 boats have already entered for the 2017 nationals leaving only 50 places.
A steady increase of 56 entries at the 2013 Nationals, 61 in 2014, 67 in 2015, and 120 in 2016, indicates the Supernova Association has got it 'right'. By listening to what its sailors want the Association has come up with a successful formula that looks set to help the Class make exciting growth over the coming few years.
A big thank-you to our generous boat builder Hartley Boats matching 50% of the entry fee for the first 100 boats.
Finally it's not too late to enter, with 50 places still remaining, go to www.supernovadinghy.org for more details.
