Sunsail celebrates its 500,000th sailor

Sunsail's Portsmouth-based fleet has recently passed a major milestone in getting more people into sailing taking more than half a million people out on the water since Sunsail was founded in 1974.
To celebrate, Sunsail invited the 500,000th sailor, Mr Richard Hurley from Deloitte, aboard one of the Sunsail's Match First 40s during the Aberdeen Asset Management Cowes Week. He was presented a Crewsaver 30th anniversary limited edition lifejacket, a bottle of Chilgrove gin and Tinwood sparkling wine as well as a certificate on 10 August by the British Sailing team member and Sunsail ambassador Helena Lucas MBE along with Chairman of the British Marine Federation Sarah Dhanda.
