Ready for a road trip!
As we all know, packing the car for sailing events can be a nightmare! Sailing bags are packed to the limit with every piece of kit in our sailing wardrobe, making sure we are prepared for every climatic condition. Adding to our packing woes is the shore kit, tool bags and spares leaving very little space to sit!

• Gill Rolling Jumbo bag is an ingenious way to carry all the kit you might need, made from hardwearing nylon fabric with a waterproof coating, smooth-rolling non-marking wheels and a retractable aluminium handle, so no rust!
•Musto traditional roll on bag, with a large zipped compartment with internal mesh zipped section. Trimmed with coated nylon to provide a barrier to moisture and provide extra protection when stood on wet surfaces.
Now you need to pack the boat, having spent hours polishing and preparing your hull and foils, the worst option would be to pack-up with worn and tired covers that don’t offer sufficient protection from the elements or the rigours of a road trip. Battle of the Thames:
Our very own Steven Graham was amongst a select few invited to take part in a sailing race between MPs and Lords. Sailing in the Enterprise a race called the battle of the Thames the Lords and MPs swapped their benches for boats taking to the water for a charity sailing race to mark officially the relaunch of the House of Commons’ Yacht Club.
