Longest Day Of The Year!
The Summer Solstice is next week and maybe you will be celebrating some pagan rituals; we think you are more likely to be enjoying the light evenings when you can either take to the water or enjoy bumbling with your boat.
With the blazing heat of the mid-summer sun no sensible sailor ventures out without a cap and a pair of sunglasses.
Sunglasses
In high summer sunglasses are a must, protect your eyes from those harmful UV-rays intensified by reflective surfaces, even when the sun isn't shining. Direct and indirect UV-rays have an impact on the health of your eyes and skin, so when out in the elements protection is key to your performance and future health.
