The B14 Flying Circus head to Whitstable for round 3 of the GUL TT series. Being the last event prior to the Europeans and Worlds at Garda, it looks to be a close fought contest if Stokes Bay is anything to go by.
Many teams have been out during the evenings and taking days off work training to hone their boat handling and speed. The new Team Harken GBR 796 (Nick Craig/Tom Pygall) seems to be going quick out of the box. So over the weekend will it be the Seavolution/Synthesize (Solent Boat Works) or Ovi steeds that will come out on top. With even numbers in the hands of the top teams, it could go either way
Saturday night as also a party at the club, has lots going on if attending including hog roast
Breeze is SW to west, so will be relatively flat and champagne sailing if the sun comes out. Sharing with the 505s, the weekend could be a great spectacle with some very close racing, and those attending have the chance to win some generous prizes from our series sponsors GUL
See you there!
