The 50th Cadet World Championship 2016, to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina this winter has spurred recent activity from the Cadet International Committee. Proud to be a World Sailing International Class since 1958, The International Cadet Class Association led by Chairman Jan Martin Wilschut, has commissioned a completely refreshed and updated website. Developed by Quite Easy (sponsors the 2015 Cadet Worlds in Lake Garda) it has recently been launched. www.cadetclass.org
Incorporating the latest international Cadet news it includes spaces for the 2016 Cadet Open European Championship to be held in Tihany, Hungary, and importantly the 2016 50th Cadet World Championship, Buenos Aires, Argentina www.cadetworld2016.com.ar
The site incorporates a strong section on the history of the Cadet, a self-administered International Class, including a new area recording the very impressive global list of Cadet Alumni. It is also the place to go for all the technical documentation, news and contacts, incorporating links to all the Cadet committees around the world.
As a means of uniting the global Cadet family and collating its history, it is an impressive achievement and a really interesting site to visit, as much for the current Cadet families as it is for the inspiring list of ex-Cadets worldwide.
