With just over a month to go until the Sailing World Cup, Weymouth and Portland, there is still time to get your ticket and be there to cheer on the British Sailing Team as they take on some of the finest sailors from across the globe in the final showdown before Rio 2016.

Run in partnership by the RYA, World Sailing and WPNSA as part of UK Sport’s #EveryRoadtoRio series, the event promises to be action packed both on and off the water.

You’ll be able to take in all the action from the boat park as the sailors prepare for battle on the water. Get up close and personal with your favourite sailors, grab an autograph or two or even a selfie! Chill out in the seaside inspired spectator’s area and catch all the action on the water as it happens on the live screen (11-12 June only), or if you’re feeling more adventurous why not have a go at dinghy sailing, windsurfing and stand-up paddle boarding, all of which will be available to try for FREE on both Saturday 11 and Sunday 12.

It promises to be a great day out for all the family and a great opportunity to support the very best of the British Sailing Team as they take on their Rio rivals on home waters.

“We’ve been working hard to build on the success of last year’s event and provide more activities shore side for visitors to enjoy as well as all the action on the water”, commented Bas Edmonds, Event Director.

“Last year over 600 spectators turned out to cheer on the British Sailing Team and we are hoping that even more people will join us this year to really show their support for the team. Having the crowd cheering on the sailors really adds to the atmosphere of the event”, Bas added.

Tickets are available for the final qualification day on Saturday 11 June and the Medal Race Day on Sunday 12 June. You can also visit the venue for free from the 06 – 10 June during practice sessions and qualifying (starts 08 June), but note, there is no live streaming of the racing at the venue on these days.
