23-29 April 2016
Highcliffe's Mussell and Langdown were pushed to the limits racing in Monterey Bay today, facing massive seas and high winds. Mussell battled hard but only managed to post a 3rd leaving Australia's Mark Bulka to take the honours for race 5. Langdown continued his run of 10th places clocking up his third of the Championship.
After 5 races it is all change at the top of the leader board with Australia's Mark Bulka winning race 5 and taking a 1 point lead over Mussell with Soren Dulong-Andreasen, who did not finish the race, a further 4 points back. Langdown is now tied for 5th with fellow Brit Holden and Italian Lambertini, scores after discards.
Forecast is set for kinder conditions tomorrow.
