Day 2 brought very windy conditions for the competitors at Monterey Bay, race 3 giving a 1,2 to the Aussie pair Bulka and Beebe. Soren Dulong-Andreasen of Denmark come in 3rd with Mussell and Langdown clocking up a 7th and 10th respectively, Mussell went into Race 4 with a 3 point deficit on the Danish leader.
But unfazed Mussell rose to the challenge and after a fantastic race managed to cross the line ahead and take first place. Team mate Langdown matched his morning performance getting a second 10th place up on the board.
Wednesday's forecast is looking wet but the wind isn't going anywhere just yet.
Contender Worlds standing after 4 races sees Mussel tied for first place and Langdown taking 5th.
