Wildwind Wednesdays at Lymington Town Sailing Club

Lymington Town Sailing Club is delighted to announce Wildwind Holiday's as the title sponsor for the 2016 Wednesday evening dinghy racing series.

Welcome to Wildwind Wednesday's at LTSC!

Wildwind Holidays will be sponsoring the Wednesday Early Points Series from 20th April through to 22nd June, followed by the Wednesday Summer Series from 6th July through to 7th September. Starting on the LTSC River Line, Fast, Medium and Slow fleets will take to the water, with a start time not before 1820.

"The Wednesday night series is the most popular at the club, with up to 60 boats on the water each evening. We encourage racing of all levels at LTSC and Wildwind's support will help us introduce more people to sailing and dinghy racing through our RYA Teaching Centre and Saturday Sailing programmes," comments Rick Underhill, Commodore of Lymington Town Sailing Club.

Wildwind Holidays has gained a reputation as being the best sailing holiday company in the world, with their flagship centre in Vassiliki, on the Greek Island of Lefkas, as well as a centre in Mont Choisy, on the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius, offering sailing holidays all year long.

This is the second year Wildwind Holidays have shown their support for the Lymington Town Sailing Club, building on their sponsorship in 2015 of the RS Tera and RS Feva Open meeting.

"Never have I felt such affection for a race committee in my life! It's over." Friday afternoon loomed closer and checking the forecast had become an hourly routine.
