Did we lose an hour's sleep as the clocks went forward? Who was still in bed? Seven turned up at the Fleetwood lake on a day with a mixed forecast.

After a delayed start, C rigs were assembled and that was the way it stayed for most of the day.

Eddie Greenwood decided on his stock ready supplied 'B' sail until he finally gave in to the struggle after the third race and joined the rest of the 'C' crowd.

The first 2 races were won by one of our experienced sailing veterans Eric Reid, followed by a couple from Peter Isles to complete four, before a delayed lunch.

It was now 1pm and certainly going a bit slower than usual, but it was Easter Sunday and some may have been a bit tired after their early morning egg hunt.

Another four races after lunch with a slightly shortened course completed the day's racing by just after the 3pm deadline, giving us our 2 discards.

We'd had a bit of light rain in the morning, but otherwise the day had remained sailable for what seemed an enjoyable time with average wind conditions.

Day 2 Results: (top three)

1. Eric Reid
2. Peter Isles
3. Garry Benson

The next racing at Fleetwood is on Sunday 24th April - Spring Series Round 3.
