The 2016 RS200 SW Ugly Tour, sponsored by 2ndhanddinghies.com is less than a month away from launching us into what promises to be another great year. The first event is our traditional season opener, at Bristol Corinthian YC on April 2nd, for our first slice of 2016 action.

Bristol Corinthian has been the first event ever since the SW tour started and has opened many a national circuit season too. With a traditionally strong local fleet, easy launching and good facilities, what better place to set your sat nav to, hitch up your boat and get some top class SW RS200 racing! So if it isn't already in your diary, what are you waiting for?!

This year the tour has expanded to include a new venue, alongside our very popular annual trips to some of the best venues in the SW, we will be taking a trip to Thornbury SC on the Severn Estuary, conveniently placed near Bristol and the M5. Thornbury have an expanding and keen club fleet of RS200s, with several hitting the tour last year, and we look forwards to visiting them later in the year. This takes the number of events up to 6, with 3 to count for a series, so it's never been easier to qualify for the series, and stake your claim in Bronze, Silver or Gold fleet!

The all important dates for this year are:

If you missed how you placed in last years series, take a look at the overall results here.

It would be great to see lots of boats on the water, see you there!
