If you're a dinghy enthusiast, looking for a new hobby or just fancy a great day out, then the only place to be over the weekend of 05-06 March is the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show, in association with Yachts & Yachting. And there is still plenty of time to get your ticket.

The only exhibition in the world dedicated to dinghy sailing:

Held at the iconic Alexandra Palace, the halls will be crammed full of everything you need to kick start your season or get you started. With hundreds of boats, from old time classics to the very latest designs, bags load of kit and gadgets galore, the show has everything you need all under one roof.

Alongside all the shows exhibitors you'll also have access to a wealth of knowledge and advice from the main stage talks and interactive coaching sessions, as many of the sports leading experts share their stories, tips and advice to improve your skills and knowledge. From rig tuning, start line tactics and sailing basics, to understanding the weather, preparations for Rio 2016 and boat whisperers, there's loads in store. We'll also be joined by several top British Sailing Team talents and Olympic medallists who will be on hand throughout the weekend to share their campaign experiences, tips and tricks, as well as an update from Land Rover Ben Ainslie Racing (BAR) and the organising team of the Louis Vuitton America's Cup World Series event in Portsmouth, on the forthcoming event in July as well as the latest developments within the team.

"This is a fantastic show for anyone with a passion for dinghy sailing or looking to get started", commented Charlotte Pearson, Shows Co-ordinator. "Not only can you check out all the fantastic boats on display and pick up all the essentials for the upcoming season, you have the chance to hear from experts on a whole range of subjects that can really help you when you get out on the water."

The show is also packed with free activities to entertain the whole family. Test your sailing skills on the RS Sailing Simulator. Hang out on the RYA Magic Marine Trapeze Rig, or test your RIB handling skills in the Honda RYA Youth RIB simulator. While younger visitors can enjoy whizzing around the show stands in the extremely popular Treasure Hunt, with the chance of winning some great prizes.

This year we are also joined by broadcaster, adventurer and explorer Monty Halls as show compere:
