Plans for racing are well underway and the majority of the fleet are finishing re-fit and aiming to start their training early in March. Ten Teams have entered for the RORC Easter Challenge, which will act as a warm up regatta ahead of the main season. With videography on the water, courtesy of the North Sails team and with post race de-briefing in Cowes; this event will really help the teams to develop their crew work and iron out any specific issues.
The driving force behind this project is the event management team, which includes: Rob Greenhalgh as Class President, Stuart Childerley – Race Direction, Andrew Yates – Class Measurer, Nicola Freeman – Treasurer and Joe Hall – Media & Marketing. The team is busy finalising details and co-ordinating the racing with the regatta organisers.
