Racing is taking off again at Bewl Water in Kent, organised by the new RYA-affiliated 'Bewl Sailing Association' (BSA). The Bewl Blaster is the first open event of the season at Bewl Water and will take place on 28th Feb. The event is open to all handicap classes and we are looking forward to welcoming visitors from around Kent and beyond. The next BSA event will be the Flying Fifteen open meeting scheduled for 9th and 10th April. In the mean time regular Sunday racing continues to take place and is especially well supported by Flying Fifteens and Lasers.

BSA formed in August 2015 following the collapse of the old Bewl Valley Sailing Club earlier in the year. Bewl Water has recently been sold to new owners who are undertaking an extensive refurbishment of the site facilities for all water users and visitors. BSA is working closely with the new owners to help reestablish Bewl Water as a premier sailing venue. For more information on the Bewl Blaster and BSA, visit www.bewlsailing.club/events.
