What are you doing for Mother's Day this year?

Enjoy Mother's Day with a visit to the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show © RYA

Is your mum crazy about dinghy sailing or looking for a great new hobby? Then why not indulge her passion or ignite a new love affair this Mother's Day with a visit to the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show (5-6 March, Alexandra Palace).

With everything she needs from kit and gadgets to boats and advice, the show has it all. Not only will mum love it, but it's a great day out for all the family. Challenge mum to a 'sail-off' at the RS Sailing simulator, pitch your design skills against each other at the Holt Blow Boat Challenge; see who has the right skills to top the leader board in the Honda Powerboat Simulator or just hang out together at the RYA Magic Marine trapeze rig.

Whether new to the sport or looking for some top tips to improve her skills on the water there are a whole host of talks and coaching sessions taking place throughout the weekend to give mum the edge on the start line or find out the basics to get her started. We're sure the all the talks and our show compere, former Royal Marines Officer, broadcaster and adventurer, Monty Halls, will keep her enthralled!

There are also plenty of restaurants of site to refuel as you make your way round the 150 plus exhibitor stands, giving mum plenty of opportunity for some retail therapy and for all those mums who stay to the end of the show to cheer on the winners of the Treasure Hunt, there will be an extra special gift in store!

And it doesn't end there... Not only does mum's ticket give her a great day out, activate your ticket(s) at the show and you'll also be able to visit the Sailing World Cup at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy on Saturday 11 June for FREE and watch some of the world's best dinghy sailors in action ahead of the Rio Olympics this summer.

Tickets cost £12.50 (£10.00 for RYA members) in advance or £16.00 on the door, with kids 16 and under FREE (two children free with each paying adult).

For more information about what's on and to purchase your tickets visit www.dinghyshow.org.uk and don't forget to download the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show App before visiting the show to find exhibitor stands, view schedules and much more www.rya.org.uk/programmes/dinghy-show/Pages/dinghy-show-app.aspx
