Largs Sailing Club Warm Up Series - Preview

Largs is hosting an open Warm Up Series from the 21st February until the 27th March. Races start at 11 am on each of the six Sundays, with hopefully 2 races per day.

The event is being sponsored by Barton this year and attracts a wide range of boats from Toppers to Hurricanes with prizes for overall winners and best performers in classes with three or more competitors. Largs is seeing a surge in interest in its RS200 fleet and is also hosting an open weekend for that class over the 9th/10th April.

Club terrace provides the ideal spot for food and ale, and an evening of stories Eight Finns entered the Scottish Traveller Series event hosted by Largs Sailing Club on the Clyde Estuary. Some stunning sailing conditions for the young sailors Thursday saw 15-20knts from the west making for some stunning sailing conditions.
