RS400 Northerns and RS200 Northern Tour at Ullswater YC next weekend

Ullswater Yacht Club welcomes the RS400 and RS200 classes for a weekend of racing on September 5 & 6.

It's the Northern Championships for the RS400s and the seventh of eight Northern Tour events for the RS200s. Racing on Ullswater is already a favourite for the RS classes. They are among the biggest class entries for the Lord Birkett Memorial Trophy long distance race which is held every July and are regularly among the prizewinners. Earlier this year RS200s from Yorkshire Dales and Beaver SC travelled to Cumbria to enjoy three days of racing at UYC's Easter Regatta.

This weekend, three races are planned for Saturday and three on Sunday with the first start on Saturday not before 1pm. There's camping for tents and campervans on site and catering all weekend.
