Natasha conquers the streets of London in her Capital Venture

Disabled teenage sailor Natasha Lambert has completed her Capital Venture, swapping her adapted yacht for a special walker and trekking over two miles from St Katharine Docks to the Bank of England.
Natasha, and her twelve strong support team, stopped at iconic City sights on the way and finally reached the doors of the Bank of England after over one and a half hours walk. Once there a doormen met her and posed for photographs before presenting her with a set of Bank of England buttons.
Natasha then walked back to St Katharine Docks where she is attending a reception this evening in her honour, and to raise funds for her new charity – the missile school of sip and puff sailing. The charity will give others with a similar disability the chance to enjoy sailing by “sip and puff”, using only their breath to control a sailing boat. (missisle.org.uk)
The incredible teenager sailed all the way from Cowes on the Isle of Wight to St Katherine’s Dock. Natasha (17) has cerebral palsy, has little control over her movements and sails only by breathing through a straw which controls an electronic system designed by her dad, Gary.
Natasha set off from Cowes on 23 May, sailed to Brighton, Eastbourne, Dover, Queenborough on the Isle of Sheppey, braved an extremely cold, long day to sail up the River Thames to Albert Dock then up to Tower Bridge before finishing the sail in St Katharine Docks.
Natasha has already sailed around the Isle of Wight, crossed the Channel and sailed over five hundred miles to Wales before climbing the South’s highest peak.
