2000 Class sailors head for the first Crewsaver Millennium weekend and the first Caledonian Ring weekend.
This weekend 2nd and 3rd May sees the start of the Crewsaver Millennium Series at Broadstairs Sailing Club. This series comprises of a variety of coastal inland venues held over seven weekends during the summer. The series consists of racing on both Saturdays and Sundays with start times set to allow competitors time to arrive in good time from far afield. Although the series is hotly contested by the front runners all 2000 sailors are welcome and fun can be had right down the fleet.
2000 sailors north of the border not to be outdone by their Welsh and English counterparts have their own series the Caledonian Ring starting this weekend at Port Edgar Yacht Club.

- July 4th/5th - Weston SC
- July 18th/19th - Thorney Island SC
- September 5th/6th - Snettisham Beach SC

- October 10th/11th - Bala SC
