TEAMORIGIN EVENTS, the organisers of the America's Cup World Series event coming to Portsmouth between 23rd and 26th July, have unveiled their plans to host a world class hospitality pavilion that will boast unrestricted views of the Solent race track combined with a premium hospitality experience.
This will be a totally bespoke, built for purpose facility. Every detail has been thought through to ensure that guests get to view the captivating drama of the America's Cup racing whilst having the time to relax and enjoy this unique event in amazing surroundings.
Other options for viewing this thrilling event include a Race Village on Southsea Common that has a 'free to view' Waterfront Festival Arena (now sold out for Saturday 25th July and Sunday 26th July), and a ticketed Fanzone Arena.
This will be the first time a British America's Cup team (Ben Ainslie Racing) will compete in an official America's Cup event in the UK since 1851. Guests will watch history unfold and be there to support our home team on their road to bringing the America's Cup back to the UK where it all began.
Whether you want to use this opportunity to build relations with clients or employees; or whether you simply want to invite a group of friends to experience this sporting and entertainment spectacle from the best seats in the house, this is an opportunity not to be missed!
SO WHAT'S ON THE MENU?
Following receipt of your VIP pass and detailed event documentation, you will be met by event hosts and directed through the Fanzone Arena and into the exclusive Waterfront Pavilion. Morning refreshments will be waiting and can be enjoyed whilst receiving a briefing about the day's programme of events.
Watch the "flying on water" show begin with International Moths racing right next to the pavilion with live commentary to explain the technology behind these fantastic single handed machines.
An exclusive buffet lunch and drinks menu will be laid out allowing you to dine at your own leisure and then the AC45 race boats and teams appear on the race track at around 1245 to prepare for racing. Racing takes place between 1330 and 1500, and your multi-sensory experience will involve the following:
- Real time viewing of the racing with the leeward gate and finish line within 200 metres of your viewing platform
- Large screens showing live action onboard and on the race course
- Liveline graphics that show the edges of the 'pitch', the gain line, the vital statistics
- Full professional race commentary explaining every move
Following the racing you and your guests will be ready for a well earned beer or summer cocktail or even a British afternoon tea! Plus you can watch all of the skippers make their way ashore and into the Fanzone for media questions.
