SPRING SUITS FOR ALL BUDGETS!
Whilst there may still be a call for your winter Drysuit the rising temperature offers you the opportunity to swap your heavy duty laminate fabric for a lightweight 4 way stretch neoprene. One option which is becoming increasingly popular is the Long John and Wetsuit Top combination. This provides our customers the freedom to tailor combinations to meet there needs throughout the sailing year. As a leading stockist of wetsuits P&B have picked out four of our favourite combinations which offer great performance and value for money...
1. SUPERWARM PACKAGE -TOTAL £414.00
Whilst being the most expensive package the NEW Zhik Superwarm Skiff and Superwarm Top is arguably the ultimate wetsuit combination for cold water sailors.
2. ELITE FIREWIRE PACKAGE -TOTAL £260.00
Neilpryde's Elite Firewire Matrix Long John and Elite Firewire Heatseeker Top is a great alternative to the Zhik package in terms of cost and technical value.
3. CODE ZERO / PROFILE PACKAGE -TOTAL £145.00
A not so obvious combination of Gul Code Zero Long John and Gul Profile Thermo Top utilises a long history of providing wetsuits to the water sports market to ensure build quality and excellent value for money.
4. PHASE2 PACKAGE -TOTAL £128.00
Crewsaver's introduction of the Phase2 range in 2014 proved a real hit with a wide range of dinghy sailors. The Crewsaver Phase2 Long John and Crewsaver Phase2 Control Top is the cheapest combination we have but don't let the price fool you, the Phase2 range is packed full of technical features to get through any day sailing.
Beat The Spray!
With April just around the corner and the customary showers that come with it you'd probably be best advised to keep your spray top close to hand when out sailing. Spray Tops are a quick, light weight solution to those wet and windy days on the water, easily packed away in a halyard or barnie bag. P&B have a great range of Spray Tops available on-line and in-store including the NEW Gill Pro Top, Musto Dinghy Smock and Gul Gamma Spray Top so why not come visit one of our stores or find what you're looking for online?
KIT of the WEEK!
Each week one of the P&B team will be looking into their kit bag and giving us an item that they simply wouldn't sail without!
Following another weekend of successful Merlin sailing this weeks 'Kit of the Week' comes from P&B duo Ben McGrane and Oli Wells who made it two in two for P&B at Chichester YC. With three back to back races there was no time to go ashore for food or make running repairs so the P&B made Cling-on Halyard Bags were great for storing those lose little spares as well as snacks and drinks. The bags are easily fitted to your boat and are perfect for those long racing days on the water!
