by Emma Russell, Helly Hansen 24 Mar 2015 13:10 GMT 24 March 2015

Global sailing brand, Helly Hansen, announces its title sponsorship of the Lark Class' series of sailing events – the 'Helly Hansen GREAT8 2015'.

The Helly Hansen GREAT8 launches at South Staffordshire Sailing Club, with a two day event from 21- 22 March. The popular series consists of eight events across the UK, throughout the year. This includes some of the best sea venues, as well as challenging reservoir and estuary venues.

The Helly Hansen GREAT8 2015 is also supported by long term class sponsor GJW Direct.

The Helly Hansen GREAT8 2015 will feature exciting changes to this year's circuit and will also include The Lark National Championships, taking place in August at Saundersfoot Sailing Club, Wales. Alongside its title sponsorship, Helly Hansen will provide branding for the boats and clothing prizes to be won at every GREAT8 event.

Emma Russell, Helly Hansen's UK Marketing Manager, comments, "We are delighted to announce Helly Hansen's title sponsorship of the Helly Hansen GREAT8. Having recently launched a new dinghy range into the ever-popular Helly Hansen sailing collection, we look forward to expanding our presence within this market and the Lark sponsorship offers the perfect platform for this."

The Helly Hansen GREAT8 is open to Larks across the UK and more details of the events and changes to the circuit can be found at www.larkclass.org
