ITCA (GBR) announce sponsorship deal with Magic Marine

by ITCA (GBR) 19 Mar 2015 17:44 GMT 19 March 2015

The International Topper Class Association - ITCA (GBR) is delighted to announce a sponsorship agreement with leading technical sailing clothing manufacturer Magic Marine. The sponsorship will see Magic Marine become the Official Technical Clothing Sponsor of ITCA (GBR)'s National 5.3 Race Series and 5.3 National Championships.

The agreement covers the five National Series events leading up to the Topper Nationals to be held at Weymouth from 2nd - 7th August this year.

Sally Dugdale, Chair of ITCA (GBR) commented, "We are delighted to welcome on board Magic Marine as our Official Technical Clothing Sponsor. Magic Marine's reputation for producing innovative, performance based sailing gear makes them an ideal partner for the Topper class. We look forward to working with them to execute our exciting plans for the development of the class and spreading the word of how fantastic sailing and racing a Topper is."

Commenting on the sponsorship deal Andy Taphouse, Magic Marine's UK Sales Manager said, "Magic Marine is delighted to be supporting ITCA (GBR) and looks forward to building our relationship with the Topper, one of the UK's leading junior single handed sailing class. The Topper class is rightly known for providing sailors with highly competitive fast, fair and fun racing and has proven to have been the starting point of the careers of many of our leading sailors".

"Magic Marine is driven by sailors for sailors and is pushed by all that the water offers to us as sailors. Rain, snow, wind or sun; we are 'Driven by the Elements'. Junior sailors are sailing faster, longer and in all weather conditions and as such our partnership with the Topper class and its incredible young sailors is a natural fit."
