Mark Chisnell reviews the second full week of Leg 4, a week that proved beyond doubt that ocean racing can be the toughest sport on the planet.

After a strategically brilliant move that created a lead of 80 miles, Team Brunel have watched it evaporate in the Pacific heat. If that wasn't bad enough, this morning finds them back in fifth place and over 60 miles behind the new leaders – Dongfeng Race Team.
