Hyde Sails announce Dave Hall to join UK team

Hyde Sails are delighted to announce the appointment of Dave Hall as One-Design Sales Manager.
Dave Hall is a well respected and popular sailor and sailmaker who has had successful roles at Ovington Boats and also, in the past, at Hyde Sails!
Hyde's, who this year are celebrating their 50th anniversary used to be the dominant force in UK One Design dinghy racing in the 70's and 80's. Over the years and in response to changing trends, they moved on to concentrate on making yacht sails and sails for the new generation of Manufacturers One Designs and continue to be the largest sailmaker in the world in this sector.
The more traditional classes have however continued to thrive and many of them have experienced a significant resurgence in popularity and support. Hyde plan to make a significant drive to reclaim some of this business at both national and international level, spearheaded by Dave.
Dave is a successful sailor who has won many National and International trophies campaigning both dinghies and keelboats.
He will be at the RYA Suzuki Dinghy Show on the Fireball stand with his own boat and the latest suit of Hyde Fireball sails! He will be looking out for talented sailors in key classes to help him and our sail designer Richard Lovering, develop and promote our sails. He will also be offering special discounts and packages for certain classes for this season.
