Postponement of Grafham Grand Prix

For the last few weeks, Grafham Water has been at about 70% of capacity, causing difficulty launching and recovering boats.

Although the water level is now rising, the problem isn't expected to have gone away by the scheduled Grand Prix date of 28th December.

After careful consideration of alternatives, we've concluded it will not be practicable to launch and recover the expected entry of about 180 boats at current water levels.

We've concluded that the best solution is to postpone the event until a date when the water level is expected to be higher.

Having discussed the alternatives with club members and SailJuice, we've decided to reschedule the event to Sunday February 22nd.

The club apologises for the inconvenience.
