European Musto Skiffs loaded for the Worlds at Perth, Western Australia

by Rick Perkins 29 Oct 2014 13:55 GMT 2-9 January 2015

The 2015 ACO Musto Performance Skiff World Championships starts on 2nd January at Mounts Bay Sailing Club in Perth, Western Australia. Two containers are now loaded and on their way representing Swiss, Dutch and UK sailors.

In order for this to happen there needs to be quite a bit of logistics planning and management and the class are very grateful to project coordinator Kyran Young from Central Oceans for his valuable support in the logistics planning. Central Oceans have also signed up as logistics sponsor for which the class is very grateful.

We would also like to thank Chris Turner and the team at Ovington Boats who very kindly arranged for 13 boats to arrive at their factory from all over the UK and then loaded the boats for the sailors, that's really going the extra mile! and to Pontoon Hire for the use of their facilities in loading the mainland European competitors boats.

Australian clubs are not only hosting the Musto Performance Skiff World Championships but also the Tornado class are holding their Worlds in Perth and the B14 and Int. 14 classes are competing in their individual World Championships in Melbourne. There's lots going on in 2015 in Australia and from the Musto Skiff class best wishes to all competitors from all fleets!
