Clipper Ventures has once again chosen Marine Resources to help source their Round the World Skippers for the 2015/16 Clipper Round the World Race. The Race is the world's longest ocean race and the ultimate sailing challenge. 12 identical Ocean yachts will complete 15 races in total. The Clipper Race began in Plymouth, October 1996 and is still going strong.
Clipper Ventures are looking for 12 outstanding skippers with RYA or IYT Ocean qualifications, a solid background of sailing experience and able to demonstrate strong leadership abilities under pressure.
The Skippers will be responsible for guiding the crew on board the 70ft Clipper Yachts a total of 40,000 miles. The 2015/16 Race is due to start in July/August.
