Henri Lloyd and the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation are pleased to unveil the Henri Lloyd Bart's Bash Collection, a limited range of Henri Lloyd marine products, which carry the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation logo designed to celebrate Bart's Bash, the Guinness World Record attempt for the Largest Sailing Race, whilst also raising money for the Foundation.

Within the collection will be the Henri Lloyd Cyclone Jacket; a multi functional soft shell jacket, which offers extreme breathability and water/wind resistance which can be used as sportswear or to wear ashore. The Henri Lloyd Fast-Dri Cap; the ultimate quick drying peaked cap, and the Henri Lloyd Fast Dri Silver polo, a lightweight, breathable and easy care polo, manufactured from Fast-Dri fabrics which are designed to wick perspiration away from the skin ensuring outstanding comfort over prolonged periods, whilst also offering unparalleled UV protection.

Sir Ben Ainslie, Foundation Trustee and long-time Henri Lloyd brand ambassador commented: "The support from Henri Lloyd is a strong addition for both the event and the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation. The official Bart's Bash merchandise range will help to raise awareness of the great cause, whilst commemorating Bart, and we hope everyone will be proud to wear the collection."

Henri Lloyd will be contributing funds from the sale of the collection which will go directly to the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation for its charitable activities. The collection is available to purchase from the Henri Lloyd website at www.henrilloyd.com/sailing/bart-s-bash and from the Henri Lloyd Sailing Store in Lymington and Cowes.

Inspired by Olympic Gold and Silver medallist Andrew "Bart" Simpson, and founded by Sir Ben Ainslie CBE, Iain Percy OBE and Andrew's wife Leah, the Foundation helps young people to develop the personal skills that will improve their ability to succeed in life and to improve access to jobs and careers within the maritime sector.

The Foundation's activities include a number of major projects: the Andrew Simpson Sailing Centre, which offers subsidised sailing opportunities; an Ambassador program, designed to inspire school children through the visit of Olympic ambassadors, and an International program which features, among a growing number of initiatives, Bart's Bash. The inaugural Bart's Bash is a sailing race that will be run by sailing clubs from all around the world on behalf of the Foundation. Each sailing club will sail an individual Bart's Bash race at their location (with certain requirements to meet the world record criteria) on Sunday 21 September 2014. Bart's Bash will be joining together thousands of worldwide sailors in a race to set a new Guinness World Record, raise money for charity, inspire the next generation and also remember Andrew 'Bart' Simpson.

It is the major fundraising event for the Foundation to support its charitable work. For more information please visit: www.bartsbash.co.uk
