Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport visits Barnt Green SC

Barnt Green Sailing Club were pleased to welcome Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Sajid Javid, to the club on Saturday 30th August.

Barnt Green were hosting the Enterprise Youth Championships over the weekend and the minister took a keen interest in the proceedings while talking to club and Enterprise Association officials.

The meeting was won by Rory Mackenzie and Millie Pryke from Ogston in Derbyshire.

Midland Area Double Chine Series round 1 This event the first in the 2022 Enterprise Midland Area Double Chine Series was held at Barnt Green sailing club on Sunday 3rd April. Midland Area Series Round 2 sponsored by Allen The second event in the Solo Midland Area calendar was held on 9th April at Barnt Green Sailing Club. The first Midland Area Double Chine open since October 2019 This meeting was the first Midland Area Double Chine open since October 2019 due to the pandemic.
