Lark class announce an exciting new partnership

by James Ward 21 Jul 2014 17:19 BST 21 July 2014

The Lark class are pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with international watersports and mountain sports clothing producer Helly Hansen.

Helly Hansen will now be the class prize wear provider for 2014 and 2015. Meaning that all prizes at the GJW Direct Lark National Championships and also overall prizes for the GJW Direct Lark Belle Isle Traveller Series will be exclusively Helly Hansen clothing and accessories.

In addition Helly Hansen will also be providing all the daily prizes during this years Nationals Championships in Penzance from 16th – 22nd August as well as special competitor gifts for each boat entering the event.

This new Lark Class/Helly Hansen exclusive prizewear partnership grew from the successful event sponsorship of the Lark Winter Championships in 2013. Where Helly Hansen were the title sponsor for the event.

James Ward, Lark Class Chairman said "This partnership between the Larks and Helly Hansen is fantastic news all round. We had a great winter champs supported by Helly Hansen and I'm really pleased that such a prominent brand sees the value in working with the Larks."

James went onto say "The class really is going from strength to strength at the moment, after recently voting Laminate sails into the class we have also extended our title sponsorship agreement with GJW Direct until the end of 2016. Along with securing Helly Hansen until the end of 2015 and also securing incredible Nationals venues for the next 4 years in the form of Penzance, Saundersfoot, Lyme Regis and Brixham the class really is once again showing it's a very attractive proposition for anyone wanting to come and race an affordable friendly 2 person symmetrical dinghy."

Further details on the Lark class can be found at www.larkclass.org as well as all the information on the fast approaching GJW Direct National Championships in Penzance. Which the class can still help source boats for.
