Best Of The Breathables!
Despite the recent spate of excellent weather which see's the inevitable arrival of summer shorts, sunglasses and sailing caps it's always an idea to have a breathable top layer on hand for all those unscheduled showers. So...if you're rigging up your boat early in the morning, packing your boat away late at night or just looking for some shelter from the rain P&B have a great selection of breathable tops which are great both on and off the water.
All your favourite marine brands have ranges of technical breathable clothing which are designed to offer waterproof protection whilst regulating body temperature to make you comfortable at all times. It's then the job of the experienced P&B team to test and select the best products for our customers. In this case P&B's favourites are the Zhik Aroshell Smock, Henri Lloyd Atmosphere 2 Jacket, Gill Race Waterproof Smock, Musto Sardinia Jacket and probably the 'daddy' of all breathable jackets the Musto MPX Offshore Jacket.
If you've got any questions about our breathable range of clothing or any queries about P&B product then get in touch with us on 01604 592808.
From Top To Bottom!
Now you've got the top layer covered it's time to think about the base layers. Once again P&B's tried and trusted range of base layers offers the best layering systems which regulates body temperature keeping you comfortable at all times. Amongst the favourite base layers for this time of year is the Musto Thermal Base layers, Gill i2 Base Layer and the NEW Zhik Hydrobase, a new composite material which is super light weight, thermal and ultra fast wicking (we've tested it and it really is ULTRA FAST!)
KIT of the WEEK!
Each week one of the P&B team will be looking into their kit bag and giving us an item that they simply wouldn't sail without!
'Kit of the Week' comes from P&B director, Merlin Rocket and National 12 sailor Tom Stewart. After an early season of mainly Merlin Rocket sailing Tom made a successful return to the National 12 fleet with victory at Shoreham SC over the weekend. As the defending Burton Week Champion Tom along side crew Andrea Ralph are gearing up for the defense of their titles. As for 'Kit of the Week' it is the P&B National 12 Mainsail that gets it which not only brought success at Burton Week over a year ago but is still bringing success today.
