Amongst the 19 entries in the Nordic Folkboat class is "Crackerjack" owned and crewed by Stuart & Caroline Watson and Class Chairman Matthew Jones. Last year this team was invincible in the main UK events. They won both the Nordic Nationals in June and Folkboat Week in August before going abroad to the States and competing in the San Francisco International Cup event where they finished 3rd, the best ever result by a British crew.

Also racing next Saturday in the IRC Division 3D is past winner of the Gold Roman Bowl Edward Donald helming his Nordic "Madelaine". The weather forecast is for light winds and so it will be interesting to see if he can continue his very successful history in this race.
