West Lancashire Yacht Club Ainsdale Regatta - Preview

by Alex Halliwell 19 Jun 2014 22:31 BST 29 June 2014

West Lancashire Yacht Club are running a regatta on the sea at Ainsdale this Sunday 29th June. There will be class starts for Enterprises, GP14s, Streakers, Lasers, slow and fast handicap starts. Whether you would just like to experience sea sailing or you want to get some sea sailing in before your championship, come and join us for the best sea sailing in Northwest England.

Racing starts at 11am with 3 back to back races - bring some butties for between races. Prize giving will be as soon as possible on the beach after racing. This year the prizes have been generously sponsored by Tim Harper Boats and Sails. You are welcome to come back to the club for showers etc. after racing.

If the weather is unsuitable and we are unable to get out through the surf, racing will move to the marine lake at Southport. So come and join us, whatever the weather we will be sailing.
