Anyone with a disability can enjoy a fun day sailing in Mid Wales, thanks to the Clywedog sailing club disability and kayaking day on the 21st June 2014.

The event is being run by Powys County Council in conjunction with Clywedog sailing club and Anglers Afloat. Staylittle outdoor centre are the Sailability Foundation site and will be key partners in the event.

Sailability boats and sit-on kayaks will be available throughout the day for participants to try out, together with the club's access and sunbird dinghies. Wetsuits and buoyancy aids will be provided.

Clywedog is one of the leading centres for disability sailing in Wales, events being organised by Keith Rollinson who is also the Sailability co-ordinator for all of Wales.

"This is a great opportunity for anyone with a disability," explained Rollinson.

"We have plenty of great facilities at Clywedog which allow people to go out on the water safely and have a really good time.

"Anyone can come sailing or kayaking and be confident in their surroundings."
