After the success of the Edinburgh 707 Cup at Port Edgar, it's now the turn of The Royal Forth Yacht Club to host a major 707 event on the Forth, the UK Nationals sponsored by Rathbones Investment Managers.

A much bigger event, 25 – 30 707 One Design Sportsboats are expected to contest the latest running of this highly competitive event. Based at Granton, boats from Burnham, the Solent, Scarborough, Hartlepool and Wales are travelling to compete against the best of the local fleets over four days in the 'made for racing' waters between Inchcolm and Inchkeith.

With the majestic Edinburgh Castle overseeing proceedings, reigning UK National Winner Jon Powell from Royal Southern, Scottish Champions, Seaword helmed by Tich Summers, 2013 Edinburgh Cup Winners, the Robertson family in Cacciatore and 2014 Edinburgh Cup Winner, James Urquhart in Code Z will vie for what could be an historic last UK Nationals held in Scotland before Independence – a piece of History in the making!

As always, much hospitality and festivities are planned ashore...
