Round 2 of the Crewsaver Millennium Series will see the 2000 fleet at Chichester Yacht Club this coming weekend 31st May/1st June.
With the largest 2000 fleet in the UK (possibly), the CYC 2000 fleet are looking forward a weekend of racing with other members of the 2000 Class on our tidal lake. Loading up the forecast it is looking seriously good with sunshine, F3/4 winds and 18C on both days.
For those who have not been to CYC before you have been missing out big time and if you have never sailed/raced on the sea then this is a perfect first time venue.
Plenty of parking close to the dinghy park, a tea/snack bar outside the changing rooms, a fully licensed restaurant (with a wide selection on the menu) and bar. For the spectators they can enjoy a fantastic view of the race area either on the lawn or on the upper deck balcony (with a glass of your favourite tipple in hand of course).
Entertainment has been laid on for Saturday evening with local band 'Miles High' and of course a now famous CYC tea after racing on the Sunday.
Full details can be viewed on the 2000 class website here.
