Soto 40 class at Gaastra PalmaVela, Real Club Náutico de Palma

Bigamist, owned by Pedro Mendonça, won the first date of the 2014 Soto 40 European Championship that took place at the Real Club Náutico de Palma.

With Afonso Domingos as skipper, the Portuguese boat achieved a first and a second place in the two races that the Soto 40s completed today in Palma de Mallorca. With 7 races and a discard, it added 10 points and became the champion of the 2014 Gaastra PalmaVela.

Hendrik Brandis and Christian Nagel's Earlybird placed second position overall (Earlybird won the last edition of PalmaVela). The podium was completed by Glen Ellen XXII, property of the French Dominique Tian.

The next date of the 2014 Soto 40 European Championship will be the Semaine de Porquerolles, event that will take place in Porquerolles, France, from May 28th to June 1st.
