ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyeres - Day 4 Morning Report

by Daniel Smith, ISAF 24 Apr 2014 10:20 BST 19-26 April 2014

Hyères to serve up more glamour conditions

Sailors have been treated to some exceptional racing at ISAF Sailing World Cup Hyères with glamorous conditions over the opening three days.

More of the same is expected on the fourth day of racing with a morning north westerly breeze in between 3-6 knots turning to the west and increasing to 9-12 knots at midday. As the day goes on a south westerly breeze in between 13-16 knots will ensure more great racing on the French Riviera.

A trough extending from the southern Adriatic sea to the gulf of Genoa and to south eastern France fills gradually and disappears at about midday. A low 1013 hPa is expected to form over south-western France by early afternoon moving slowly north eastward and deepening 1009 hPa over central France late afternoon.

The ISAF TV team took to the water on the third day with some great race action in the Men's 470 and 49erFX in Part 1 and Laser Radial and 49er in Part 2.
